Yellowstone National Park - Mammoth Hot Springs, Noris Geyser Basin, Grand Prismatic Spring, Canyonlands National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyon, Death Valley National Park
When all elements are stripped away and details are magnified, it's a whole different world. Lines, colors, shadows, highlights. Textures galore. While everyone else takes photos of scenery, I focus the camera lens on the little things they overlook. Raw peaks in Bryce Canyon. Curved walls in the majestic, pastel hue Antelope Canyon. Can you believe that some of the detailed shots from Yellowstone (hover over the photo to see location) that appear to be rocks are actually colorful microorganisms? Mother Nature is quite an artist.
Posts from my trip have been majorly postponed since I haven't had a chance to sit down and review the photos. Houston has been treating me surprisingly well. Work has been challenging but exciting as I network and as I am given projects that push me beyond my comfort zone. Because this is my first time in Texas and to make up for all the social life I missed out on due to school, I made it a goal to go beyond and be more social. From there, I have found a great group of friends with whom I can have a good time with as I discover more of what Texas has to offer!
